President Trump and first lady Melania continued their overseas trip in Britain today after attending a beautiful dinner hosted by Prime Minister Theresa May last night.
Early Friday, Melania split off from President Trump to visit with school children and veterans at an event hosted by Philip May, husband of Theresa May.
The first lady also played a game of bocce with Mr. May and made poppy pins with the children and veterans.
Next, the Trumps headed off to Windsor Castle where they were scheduled to meet with Queen Elizabeth II of England for tea.
There was much fanfare at their arrival to the castle, with military all over the grounds to welcome them into the Quadrangle. The Guard of Honor gave a royal salute and the U.S. national anthem was played.
As President Trump and Melania stepped out of their vehicle, they walked up to Queen Elizabeth and then the incredible happened.
Queen Elizabeth looked up with the biggest SMILE ever! She was delighted to welcome them with a huge grin and warm handshakes.
The trio then toured the grounds while U.S. service hymns were played all around them before heading into the 900-year old castle for a proper British tea.
Despite what the media would have you believe, the Queen was obviously pleased to meet President Trump and Melania.
