Two Mexican Nationals Arrested After Mississippi Police Find 51 Pounds of Heroin Worth $10MILLION in their SUV

Dreamers? They’re Not Sending Their Best

Just as President Trump and Chuck Schumer are duking it out over the ‘Dream Act,’ (DACA) two Mexican nationals, who resemble some DACA recipients were pulled over for a routine traffic stop and arrested for carrying $10 Million dollars worth of Heroin.

The opioid epidemic is also a large issue in America and a political point of focus for both parties, so this seems to be a ‘two birds’ kind of deal.

Two women have been arrested on drug trafficking offenses in Mississippi after authorities found 51 pounds of heroin with a retail street value of about $10 million.

The huge stash of drugs was found in the back of the women’s SUV.

The driver, Arlene Viridiana Moya, 23, of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, and her passenger Trisha Lynne Ibarra, also 23, of Laredo, Texas, were both taken into custody after police stopped them for a traffic violation and have been charged with aggravated trafficking of heroin.

Ibarra had her three-month-old child in the vehicle with her at the time of her arrest according to Nola.com. The baby is now in the care of Child Protective Services.

When police pulled over the car they already suspected that the SUV was carrying drugs.

The women agreed to have the car searched whereupon police found the drugs with 51 pounds of heroin hidden inside.

The wholesale street value of the heroin is estimated to be around $2 million but it has a retail street value of about $10 million.
